It would look a lot like my life as a full-time employee. Practically indistinguishable from one another.
Is that good or bad
Not much, honestly. I keep my vacays for in between gigs and no one is covering 3 weeks of PTO on a 3-6mo contract.
So I guess my answer is I can't even imagine it.
Yeah the rates I’m getting are definitely not remotely covering 3 weeks of not working, after rent and insurance payments lmao

My life would be exactly the same but instead of making no money on the days I wasn’t working I would make money on those days.

Correct in theory as long as you don’t divide your bi-weekly salaried paychecks by the insane amount of hours you’re forced to work; like I stoopidly did.
Knowing that in the end you’re earning $22 an hour negates any joy from your “paid” PTO”
😞🤦♂️
I imagine the day/hourly rate offered would be lower in order to cover the cost of the time-off. I would not be a fan of this because I really don’t want to have my time off dictated by my employer. They pay me for my time and when I don’t work for them I don’t want to be contractually obligated in any way.
It would make me far less vulnerable to the company trying to convert me into an employee
