Going to be taking Becker soon for the CPA exam- but feel that everything I learned in college is over my head. Becker good about re teaching concepts or is it more of just a refresher?

How should I pivot to Wealth Management as a Credit Analyst for a commercial bank? I’ve worked as a credit analyst for about a year after graduating in finance last year. I also interned at a wealth management firm while in college. Any advice is appreciated!

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

In frontend they are using react again I have no knowledge of frontend technology. What do you guys think will it be worth to switch to golang specially when I have no experience of it? I’m a senior associate and received an offer to join a very profitable client as general counsel that would open lots of doors professionally and financially. Problem is I’m super burned out on law and was planning on quitting law firm in the next few weeks and doing something else with my life. Someone kick some sense into me before I decline the offer.

Does anyone feel that the Oil and Gas industry is the most discriminatory industry of all? They won’t even look at resume without O&G experience! It does not make sense to me as I would rather teach someone the specifics of an industry if they were a good fit. And for an industry that has so many obstacles from Government, Environmental Organizations and so on, why they are adding more bad publicity to themselves is not a great approach.
