Google employees on not having free food while WFH

Does LTI provide reimbursement for WFH setup ?
My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India
Is five full days enough in Iceland? Late July!
Well this is telling....

Chipped my tooth eating a damn potato chip ☹️
Anyone knows of a good deal on office chair?

Silicon Valley companies give you these "benefits" so you spend more time at work and give them more labor. Giving you coffee and dinner, and maybe a gym is far cheaper annually than the amount of work they get out of you in exchange. Ideally workers would clock in at 8/9 and head out 8/9 hours later. Everything else is a trap

And I'm falling for it.

Dude a coffee machine is like $20 for cheap and $100 for a great one wtf
A French press, the best coffee “machine” ever invented, can be picked up for even less.
I literally thought this article had to be from The Onion

Y’all are. And so are people who work at google apparently
Meanwhile...people are losing their jobs, can’t feed their families and lives are being cut short. But having you do your own dishes, man is the struggle real?! 😂

It truly sounds like parody.
People are just lazy. Buy a coffee machine with the money you would use on car fare and do your own damn dishes!
