Last year I moved internally from a
Paralegal level 11 w/ 14 yrs exp at
$100k base + up to 8% bonus to my
current role as compliance manager
level 9 at $123k base + up to 35%
bonus. I was above cap in my prior
role and now my range is up to $138k
base. I'm being recruited to my old
team as a level 10
Manager with
same base/bonus as now but since it's
a lower level I will cap out within a
year. I always found the legal work
more interesting but limited in career
growth. Not sure what to do.

I had my phone screen on Friday afternoon with the hiring manager. He told me he did 4 phone screens this week including mine and has 2 more this week. I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud. I just had a first round interview with HR. It’s a large company with tons of reviews about what the interview process so I expected to get behavioral questions. In reality the person spent the first 10 minutes explaining what the role is not. They could not answer specific questions about the role and only asked me two specific questions about my current job and 1 behavioral question and then went into salary/benefits. Is it typical to still go over salary if they don’t expect to move forward?

Any insights to add to the process on the company side? There is a new person being added to the team and the interview process is ongoing. What are things to look for that are red flags? What are GOOD signs?

Okay so it looks like this may be a real issue. I am sitting at my second interview. The first one was about a week ago and the interviewer was not only late but rushed me through.
He scheduled me for a second interview just to meet his boss as a formality but, here I sit over 20 minutes and no one in sight. First problem I see is disorganization. It seems they looked confused when I showed up as if they where unaware. Second is value of my time. 25 minutes and counting and no word.

My dream company has opened many positions in my field in various of their subsidiaries for the first time since I started my career. A month ago, I applied to all the available ones at that moment and I finally did my first interview. Now, I’m just waiting to get a call about a second interview. They keep posting new jobs I qualify for in different subsidiaries, should I continue to apply to increase my chances, or is that wrong bc I’m already started the interview process with one position?

I have an interview Friday and don’t have the hiring manager’s email. I’ve been going through the recruiter. I wanted to send an email to the hiring manager after the interview to thank them, but don’t have an email. Should I ask for their email? It is in a teams meeting and it shows the manager’s name but not her contact information

In addition, when I send my thank you, should I also send a thank you to the recruiter who is my liaison during this process?

Currently have an interview that requires a TS/SCI clearance, though it's stated in my resume that I currently have a Secret clearance. I did not directly apply for the job, but was contacted by a Recruiter. Did the Recruiter not read my resume or is this a negotiation point during the interview?
