Hi fishes! Nagarro declined the counter offer letter ₹33,00,000 + shares worth 4.5LPA
I've 6+ yrs experience (mobile dev.)
Nagarro offered 18LPA. Initially I told HR for 22 but he mentioned 18 into their internal portal to their senior so after clearing all interview rounds I got 18.
When I asked the HR, he told me to accept it for now and bring the counter offer letter so they can revise offer letter.
But now they declined. Weird.

Have heard bad things about Amazon corporate culture and general employee satisfaction. Do some homework there
^Came here to say the same thing as D2
Do your research, come at them with data. Go to Glassdoor, salary.com etc for examples of similar pay for the same role. Ask them what other compensation you can expect I lieu of base pay.
OP, Amazon base salary is pretty set in stone with a max of $160k. The only negotiation you may be able to do is on the signing bonus which can vary a lot ($20k-$150k) depending on the conditions and all. I would push for more on the benefit side than comp since you're less likely to move them on comp. best of luck! It's a great employer and yeah you'll work your tail off but you'll be doing it to help your stocks!
Worked at Amazon and it is a backstabbing sweat shop. Over 600 emails a day is the norm and common responses when asking a question are "refer to my previous emails." By far the worst place I have ever "worked."
How is the stock etc?
Nice! Doing what?
Which practice from EY ? What role at AMZN?
Amazon versus consulting .... Odds are its not that bad and some people who were soft got put off by a culture that pushed a bit harder than they expected.
Having spent more than my fair share of time working in the pacific northwest, there are a lot of smart people that aren't always very objectives oriented.
Pretty sure everyone has saw the NYTimes article by now.
That said consulting firms are also rated as having one of the best places to have work life balance, so there's that.
I hope you have exit options in whatever you do!!
Rough culture. Proceed with caution if you're not getting a lot more of either: money, fulfillment/interest in the work.
Everybody I know that has gone to work at Amazon has regretted it. They've all left as quickly as possible... tread cautiously!
Go for stock...my brother had a low ball offer but he got stock at signing and got more yearly for the first two years
Hard to negotiate without another offer BATNA low but maybe long term comp or stock options
Get a lot of stock at Amazon. It's a hellhole. My brother works there and is only biding his time till his options vest.
Have heard about work life at amazon and all that, but my current job isn't that great either all the long hours with no appreciation.
That said my offer at amazon is 140k base + 50k signing and + 100k in stocks
^holy shit that's awesome
That's par for a good offer. You do know the signing bonus is not paid upfront right? And you don't get any regular bonuses while it's being paid out.
OP, what's your level and group, at EY?
