Got my first round at Bain coming up next week. Think I’m ok with casing, but still worried. Any last minute tips and any Bain-related quirks I should be aware about? Also not sure how to approach fit interview portion

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?
