How does everyone find their clients?
Say you’re an Assurance Senior 3 and want to transfer soon as you hit Manager back to your hometown office. Should you secure the manager promotion at your current office first or go ahead and initiate the transfer at S3? I’m scared that they won’t accept me over their current S3s and so I think the safer bet is to make manager first then transfer. Deloitte EY PwC
Also, how desperate are firms for Managers these days? I know seniors and staff are in demand but I rarely hear about Managers.

Don't just quit. Take FMLA. You can get 12 weeks to treat your mental health condition while staying employed. And you can use the time to job hunt for something else.
Yeah don’t quit, operate at minimum capacity. My former roommate left EY because her team was toxic and looking back, she should’ve just waited for her offer to come in instead of dealing with a month of anxiety wondering if they next paycheck will ever come.
I haven’t but I’m in the same situation as you. Can’t wait to leave this place
This question has been asked multiple times here, and based on what I saw it’s more common than I originally thought. I totally get the urge as I did have the same feeling from time to time, but I then asked myself “if I am willing to completely forgo my paycheck, I will be more than fine to take a pay cut and look for jobs that I like (or at least not hate)”. This was when I opened many doors to opportunities. I am not advocating taking a acceptable pay cut to switch job and obviously you can get the best of both world by getting a pay bump doing so, but sometimes it really makes sense if to open those extra opportunities and just have a fresh start to re-energize. Getting lower pay is better than no pay, and the experience you get from the new job can help your career in long term (rather than just have a blank period on your CV)
Not to scare you - but a colleague of mine did that and thought he had a soft offer lined up, then the company pulled out and he had to scramble
