Has anyone gone from regulatory/transactional law to tech sales? How did you do it? Did you leverage industry knowledge? How did you convince your eventual employer you could do the job? And, are you happy?

I almost took a role with a higher end discovery firm when I left biglaw (litigation). I didn’t even apply. If a company is looking to sell into your current practice group - good chance they will hire you.

Are there any scrum masters out there willing to take me on as a mentee? I recently received my CSM, but I know that is not enough to get a job. I am looking for someone to show me the ropes and help me apply what I learned in the CSM course so I can start applying for jobs within the next 6 months. I am currently a business development consultant dealing with enterprise accounts. I want to stay in tech but I HAVE to get out of sales. It’s just not for me. Thank you in advance!
