Got a rejection late last night after probably 3 hours of interviews and a take home assignment & presentation. They told me they wanted to consider me for other positions, but would like to know if there is anything actionable I can improve on for other companies.

I have been recently selected in Virtusa and in the compensation there are components like Internet reimbursement, LTA, food reimbursement.

How do firms calculate how much parental leave to provide, either paid or unpaid. Or do they just pick a number, like “yeah they can get to know their kid in a few weeks and I couldn’t possibly have that attorney out for 12 weeks?” I’m at a small firm, no FMLA or state requirement. We get four weeks paid and four weeks unpaid. Would like to push for more but not sure how to argue costs side of it.

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. Do PDM analysts get performance year end bonuses and AIP?

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

Well, I was on an onboarding call and they were talking about staffing and projects. The presenter said to reach out to them if you don’t think your project is a good fit. I've gotten the Deloitte D launch orientation survey. Me start date is on the 16th (less than 2 weeks). I've emailed BI onboarding twice, called my recruiter asking if they are ok with background/employment verification check and I've not gotten a response. Does getting the D launch orientation email imply everything is good with background/employment checks

It's day 2 for me at Deloitte (PDM) , just received my laptop yesterday , completed a few of the trainings and created/uploaded my resume. Coach and onboarding advisor have not been assigned yet. When do I get assigned to a project? What does that process look like ? How long does this orientation go on for ?
