Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

What’s the read on JOAN in NYC?
Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Take it - it’s not gonna burst tomorrow, and having lyft on your res will open you up to more industry tech companies
Lyft is actually making some good moves to stay relevant over the next 10-20 years, and all the trends I'm seeing support long term viability for that industry overall. I wouldn't worry too much about Lyft going belly up any time soon.
What makes you think the company will burst?!
I would take that offer in a heartbeat
OP, what’s the Comp package?
Not sure yet, verbal offer was given yeaterday, but its enough, salary a bit below (-10%) plus stock options
Salary is a bit below your current salary? Don't do it. Only jump ship for more money.
Thats pretty hard, I am at the very highest band of the SC range at deloitte, I probably make more than many managers. Can’t expect many industry positions to match that.
Sorry, I’m not from D, so don’t know how the bands work, what’s your current comp, OP?
152 base
So Lyft has offered ~138k?
There are plenty of companies who can beat 152k. I made that much at a boutique consulting company. Plenty of industry jobs will beat that, especially in the Bay Area.
