Also have a pretty solid guarantee from leadership I can do the same work at Deloitte, but no additional comp adjustment (outside of the mid year bump). Am up for manager this year and barring any unforeseen circumstances will get it in June. What the f should I do?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. So...bonus was abysmal and I whined...but I had no idea that the profit sharing would be even more pathetic. Fuck this shit.

For staff/seniors in public accounting. Would you rather be paid 1 1/2 for your tax season overtime hours or would you prefer to wait for a big fat bonus check at the end of the company year? I heard KMPG paid overtime at 1.5 back in the day when the others didn't. I am sure they have now cut that out though.
