I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Additionally I’ve had a couple interviews where company “X” interviewers have commented on this and in an effort to not bad mouth my previous employer I’m stuck with a generic answer like I want to take my career to the next level with Company “X.” Any thoughts/advice?

I’ve had three interviews for an internal position over a period of about 6 weeks The last was over a week ago. And I can’t get the HR rep to even return an email or a TEAMS chat as to a ballpark when a decision may be made. VERY frustrating. Even just a “we will be making a decision soon”. Or whatever would be nice. I feel disrespected.

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. Hi everyone, I am 4 days into my IUI process. I also recently found out that my UTI was not a UTI but instead Ureaplasma. My husband also tested positive.
We are waiting to hear back from the fertility specialist but I wanted to see if anyone has had this experience, or any knowledge. I’m nervous that the antibiotics will affect my ability to conceive, but just as nervous ureaplasma will make it difficult as well. Baby Professional here - I was just given the second half of a promotion into Tier 2 for my company, on course for a Tier 3 promo in the next 6mo to 1yr. I was recently promoted, which I am really excited about. But not so exciting is that my bump in salary is really small. Much smaller than expected and I believe smaller than industry benchmark. Is there a way to politely broach the subject with my boss and ask for a larger bump? Or no? I don’t want to seem ungrateful because I love my boss and she really championed the promotion.
