I've begun investigating moving from the consulting firm I've been with for about 15 years, and I have 30+ years of experience in this game. It's been awhile since I've written up a resume vs bio. A bio seems far to high level and not providing the detail that would be key to the opportunities I'm investigating. But at the same time, I don't want a book of a resume. Any suggestions based on strategies that have worked?

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

What is the protocol with talking with recruiters? I'm not pre se looking to move right now but if something with more money and flexibility regarding location opens up then I'm not opposed.

Is it wrong to talk to them about possible opportunities?

Actually I got instant feedback from my recruiter after my RRK interview.

Hey Guys, I have applied to Accenture through their Accenture India portal and it's still showing pending review and my interview hasn't been scheduled yet. as I checked found out that pending review means the Application has been passed from HR to the operations team what should I do now as it's been more than 4 weeks and I haven't received any response from them and there is no way to contact them.i am getting a little frustrated about this

How much time does Naviga global take to send offer letter. My HR round was done on 3rd of September.

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. Mental health is busy, looking for tips to help manage tasks, currently I supervise 12 therapists in 3 different departments that are all different with unique dynamics in each dept. Yesterday my younger brother called me looking for good hidden swimming spots in the mountains. He was up there with a bunch of friends and their original plans had fallen apart hard. And I go much more often than he does.

My Dad is reluctant to carry a cell phone and never uses the flip phone I got him 10 years ago but maybe if it was more basic /easier to use he would (?)
