I am getting engaged in the upcoming month and it's an arranged marriage
I am bit nervous of the new phase of my life
I am more an introvert and i feel bit nausy about these new people including my bride. I don't know what to talk(literally) to her and her parents
There's lot more time for wedding and we aren't engaged yet, will this be a bad remark or is this normal with everyone?

Our 5 month old started daycare about 5 weeks ago. We’ve already had to keep her home for 2.5 of those 5 weeks due to catching various illnesses (croup, rsv, brinchiolitis, etc). Both my wife and I have been sick most of that time as well (gotten it from the baby). Wife is thinking we get a full time nanny for the next 4 months to help the baby build antibodies. Cost aside, is this feasible / worthwhile to go thru the effort / finding the right fit, only for 4 months?

Advice or Book recommendations on how not to get bothered by others/ friends/ peers? What they think or what they do!

Are there any mothers here who voluntarily gave primary custody to the kids father? I love my children fiercely but tbh I don’t think I’m cut out to be a single parent. Family and friends tell me I’m a great mom but at the end of the day having them on my own is exhausting and I end up just either letting them do whatever they want Bc I don’t feel strong enough to set a limit about it, or yelling at them. During the pandemic I dove into my self care (found a therapist, learned I was having seizures and got on meds for that). My journey has been difficult and not pretty to watch.
