Subbing can be rough on people, so one obvious suggestion would be to look into a permanent position. Or, with your background you may want to transition into a counseling role. Or something like curriculum development might be an option. Maybe just go back to basics and examine why you got into teaching in the first place, and follow whatever that inspiration may have been.

Counseling.
I agree that counseling seems like the best approach for you, I'm not sure but you might not have to get any additional schooling but just do some certifications with your credentials to work as a school counselor or see what it would take to become a LCSW at a child-focused therapy center
I’ve seen my best students make mince meat out of subs. It’s a sport for them. I subbed before I taught and I was jaded before I even got into the field. As a teacher, I get 1-2 parents per year try to get me fired, 1-2 students that try to take over the class, 1-2 sociopaths, 1-2 narcissists, 2 out of 3 assistant principals that slept through their graduate classes just to get a bump in pay, and 4 out 5 principals over 12 years that go through the motions and have learned how to look like they care when they don’t. I have a record of 5/400 write ups that resulted in consequences for student behavior. I had a department coordinator having a group conversation accidentally leave a recording on my voicemail and the discussion broke the law. I’ve had assistant principals call me up in the middle of the summer to change grades for athlete students. I’ve seen it all, but I focus on the students that I can help and that’s about 85% of them.

Counseling is what immediately jumps out at me. You may have to get a masters and some clinical hours depending on the state. You could also look into different pullout programs. For example, our school has a career coordinator that organizes career fairs, college field trips, various presentations during school, etc. We also have different positions that handle first generation college-bound students, homeless students, migrant students, immigrant students, teenage mothers, food security, mental health, and a variety of other things.
