Student visa?
Apply for PR under CEC experience class if you have one year of experience in a recruiter role (30 hrs per week for a year) - your job as a recruiter will be eligible for this as it’s skilled. But you are cutting it really tight, you should look into the document requirements - you need to do an English test first (ideally like yesterday haha) as you need to submit results from that to enter the pool. You can probably calculate your points with giving yourself max marks if you’re English native, if not, not so much as you might not get max marks. The other thing is get your degree form uni certified (if you have one). Use someone like WES for this, mine was very efficient as all online. You likely will not get invited to apply within the month and get approved etc but you can apply for a bridging open work permit prior to expiry of your visa (assuming IEC here). Your not technically meant to without a PR application but they’re taking months to approve or deny them so it gives you an extra few months on ‘implied status’ - the same status as your expiring visa. You can’t leave the country while on this status or you lose it though. Hope that helps a bit. You should speak to an immigration consultant for help if you aren’t familiar with all of this - it’s an intense process.
Apologies if I was incorrect but I read this as Canada not California so I am giving the above advice based on that, NOT the US.
Maybe enrolling into a community college, just one class and getting a student visa? Not to well versed on immigration law but I hope everything works out for you.
My friend did this when they were in a crunch, and it does buy you a bit of time!
