I personally take note of people who talk about SAT scores as an adult and never invite them to the good parties
GPA becomes an optional field on our applications after 3 years in the workforce. I always admired that policy.
I kept my 3.95 on mine when I switched firms after 3 years of experience. I worked my ass off for that GPA, so it’s not going anywhere 😂
I had a 3.75 but never put that up.....never in my life have i put up my GPA.....you will get the Job if you are prepared and knock that interview out of the park....period. GPA doesnt teach you interviewing and interpersonal skills.
No. Because no one cares.
If you have to put it on your application go ahead if not it does not matter. If you have a.3.9 and poor communication skills and poor work ethic. No one will care you went to Penn state and got a 3.9. They will care about the fact your a bad teammate and you suck.
Just an example.
Most people I know when we were applying to firms in college also included their SAT/ACT scores as well. I imagine that’s on the chopping block before the GPA but I really don’t know
The only job where it mattered was my first job. I switched after two years and till today no one has asked me what degree I have or what GPA I had - not even once !
As a recruiter, whenever I see a GPA from an experienced candidate, I wonder WTF and frequently pass on that person
No GPA ever if you want anything more than an entry level job. If you graduated with honors put that on instead
No I never include my GPA. That’s only needed for entry level jobs out of college. Put your job experience. That’s what counts
People like people like them. If you had a 3.8+, I say keep it. It's not an indicator of success but in tandem with a good story, it's impressive.
Why are you leaving after only one year?
M1 and D1, if the gpa is good why do you dislike it on a resume?
