Very specific to retail and/or hospitality in-house roles: has anyone found a good solution for predictive scheduling? Our retail division has one set of software for scheduling and one for payroll, and neither of them can handle predictive scheduling compliance issues unless they’re used for both the scheduling and payroll functions. I’m coming up empty on ideas for them to bridge the gap, but I’m also new to my compliance counsel role, so I would be overjoyed if anyone has suggestions.

Is it okay to share offer letters that we have with other company recruiters? Aren't offer letters strict and confidential. Can we refuse to show the same or what can we do in these situations

I accepted an offer mid Oct and just found out my new company opened a new role above me at the title I was asking for originally but was told I would move up when they were ready to build out the team. Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? I feel like being an account person is especially difficult in the COVID era since so much of what we do is manage communications, ensure the team is set up well etc. None of this feels particularly fun alone staring into the void of Zoom all day ... but the same pressure is still there. I feel like I spend every week counting down to the weekend which kinda sucks.
