“Tone policing is defined as "a conversational tactic that dismisses the ideas being communicated when they are perceived to be delivered in an angry, frustrated, sad, fearful, or otherwise emotionally charged manner." Managers striving to create a workplace based on equity and inclusion must understand how tone policing silences members of marginalized groups and allows discrimination to persist.” https://www-businessinsider-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.businessinsider.com/how-to-identify-and-help-stop-tone-policing-in-workplace-2020-8?amp

Yeah, all your documents needed to be in 12/31/2016 to avoid the requirement.
Wtf is this??
You might or might not have the ethics requirement satisfied. They look at the class title to see if it fits in and it has to be specifically in accounting.
Yes you have to have the new accounting ethics class if you apply for licensure after 1/1/17. After the changes happened, no matter how many ethics requirement fulfilling classes you've taken, at least one semester (3 unit) or quarter (4 unit) class must be taken that specifically says "accounting ethics" or "accountants professional responsibilities" in the title. That's not the same as just applying to sit for the exam. Bummer to me too, I passed my last exam in January and therefore now have to take this stupid class one year out of college. Mine started today, through the UC San Diego extension courses. Pissed me off to spend the money on it but I'm almost fucking done and I so so so want to be done, so I sucked it up.
