I feel like great agencies are embracing a mantra that everyone is in biz dev. But at a large place actively seeking new clients to talk to is probably pretty siloed. Certainly starting by asking to take on more of that where yoI are is a great place to learn. Is the biz dev team where you are very large? Is there a way to assume a more structured role or look for openings in the biz dev group?
Thanks for getting back! A bit unstructured where I currently am, but there is a core group of mostly higher up people that tend to work on new business. They are where I’ve been setting my sights and making it clear I’m ready to pitch in.
