Hello! How do I figure out the pay range for a position posted. Looking at a Program Manager position on LinkedIn and the post describes *Colorado minimum salary requirements in the 100k. What level would this be? I was told by an current employee that once you apply for a position the recruiter can only move you up on level, so I don’t want to blow my chances for a lower pay range . I'm currently a recruiter, with an HR background looking to make a slight career pivot. As an introvert, the recruitment aspect has been draining however, I do enjoy the non-phone screen aspects of it. I enjoy consulting with managers and looking at comp, internal equity and providing data to my hiring managers. I would love to know if there is anyone that has done a similar pivot (whether it's recruiter, HR generalist, etc.) to a Comp Analyst and what that transition has been like.

Why are all of the Amazon “marketing jobs” everything but…marketing. Most that I’ve interviewed for are researchers or marketing data analysts at best. Are there actual creative roles at the company or I being crazy? Got to the panel for a job I’m not sure about after connecting with the hiring manager and realizing there’s no creative ideation at all involved. I’m currently one of the largest media agencies and we don’t have a comms practice. I’ve applied for connections strategy roles at other agencies but haven’t heard anything back. Looking at my skill set and the job description they seem very aligned. Is it a super competitive field? Where is the most opportunity - creative, media or PR agencies? Is this a dying role and that’s why there aren’t larger teams/available positions?

Still waiting on a written offer but sounds like I will be offered a manager role (current senior) in a different SL. I’m expecting right (25 weeks). I applied for the role in October and it took them months to get the okay to have the role remote, I didn’t think it would happen. Did interviews last week. When do I say I’m expecting? I was planning on waiting until after the written offer? Thoughts?

My research so far says Workday WLB depends on your manager but you will work 100% billable utilization rate at least. Collaborative you will always meet your billable target and have a great WLB

I found out I am ~ 5.5 weeks pregnant after I missed my periods and through blood tests. Few days back I had sore breasts and stomach cramping.

Living in NYC — to buy a house before 30, how much did you cut back on 401k? I am maxing it out right now (age 23) but after rent and my Roth IRA I am only saving 10-15k every year. I’ve been working on a pitch that continues to get delayed and it’s poorly managed. The RFI was due in July. Then days AFTER submission I received an email from the consultant saying we now had until August. End of September rolls around and frankly I had forgotten about this 100-page beast. They want a meet and greet….the following week. The day before the meet and greet we get a list of questions (that aren’t easy softballs). Now 2 weeks later and nothing. I find myself looking for a new role in agency / production company biz dev. I co-founded a creative production agency back in 2010. Grew it to a staff of 80 FTE, creating strategic content-driven campaigns for brands, tv networks, streamers, platforms, publishers etc. We developed and produced original TV as well. Around 2016 we positioned the company for sale and then sold in Jan 2019. After going over to the acquirer in 2020, I’m now free for the first time in a long time. What to do?
