My career goal isn’t to make it to MBB or a unicorn or FAANG. It’s to feel fulfilled and challenged as I progress. I can’t be the only one that isn’t title or company chasing.

If Kanye becomes president then I can get into MBB. All things are possible.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

I've got offer from EPAM System and Fiserv. Which one to join in terms of management, appraisal/hikes, benefits and growth? Both are offering similar compensation.

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. India offer is 10% more as compared to Poland one in terms of CTC, India offer has handsome joining bonus and stocks as well

Will CTS change the job location in the offer released? It's different to what's been agreed not sure if they're in rush to release offer and such occurrence.

One of the team member has applied leaves for continuous 3 days this month. Later she applied for a 15 days leave saying a medical emergency. Both the leaves were rejected from her manager saying connect with HR. though she is on leave without PM leave approval and this is not even prior notice to the team.
