Offer from AMZN @ 160 TC, just got promo @ D to M, comp statements don't come out until first week in June. Would probably stay if comp came in equal or slightly above. What are the chances?

Was hoping AMZN would be higher but they pegged the role a lvl lower than originally discussed during the process...so here we are.

Not sure if I should play my hand and push for more to stay or if they will just say "wait 5 weeks or here is the door"

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
