I have a decent job and I make approx 30L annually gross fixed.

Lately have been thinking about doing something as a side business which can help get some passive income. I can invest my 4-5 years with my current full time job. Has anyone tried anything that seems to be underrated but really works well?. I can put some capital of 1-2 lacs initially. I just need it to give me 8-9% return annually later on it can grow .

If anyone has any thoughts will be happy to hear.

My boyfriend and I make 200K combined and live in NJ. We have $1000 in monthly car payments combined. That’s all we owe. Our credit scores are in the 800s. We have 50K to put down on a home. We have done the math and I know we can afford much more but he doesn’t want to buy more than a 400K home. I’m almost positive we can afford 500K and be more than ok. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.

Previously my HRA amount was 96000 per annum so I was submitting a rental agreement of full hra without giving pan card details of myself and first party.

Now I have recently joined a new company and here hra is 2.7LPA.

How can I claim the full hra amount? I live in a rented house where agreement is between owner and my dad. Also owner will not accept for a fake agreement too.

MY NPS SIP deducts 30/- as convenience fees
I am 27 my NPS is for 33 years my convenience fees will be around 11k
What to do ?

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)
