Which one should I pick considering work life balance and appraisal.My entire doubt is that will they bring me on market rate after appraisals as currently they are not offering very good hike.

They will dangle that this extra work may lead to a promotion for you. I would note that there are more senior people with similar workloads if you can to get them to commit to a promotion and more salary (which they won’t do).
It seems like your main concern is the low salary so focus on that. Being overworked is unfortunately the nature of agency life.

Hmm this is a tricky situation but I'm happy to hear you want to advocate for yourself here. Maybe highlight taking on a new account is above your pay grade and bring up an opportunity for a raise, as well as additional forms of support you need for this new responsibility.
It was slow so they’re weighing out capacity plus how much you can actually bill to that client.
If you can justify your billable hours to be needed on your current account to be full time, by the next week, you have a strong case.
If not, your hours are a loss to the company. Does that make sense?
To answer your question, the best question to ask is
-exactly how many hours are you expected to split your time?
-What percentage of your workload is dedicated to each account?
-What are your exact responsibilities to the new one so you can prioritize when the original picks up again?
-is this long term or just helping cover
