I completed all the interviews for a position, got great feedback but been told that the role has been deprioritised because of hiring freeze etc. My recruiter from Google said that since I was such a strong candidate she would try to push me for other positions (from September as now everything is on pause). Is this common at Google? Should I trust her and expect to be considered for other roles? Or is it something that recruiters say so you don’t feel bad lol
