If your question is how to prepare, I would suggest Joseph Philips Udemy course and Rita Mulhahy book.

like

This and do so many practice questions as you can. Rita's book will save your life. The questions in her book are not that challenging so I recommend getting sample questions and completing them

like

There are virtual prep classes

Doesn’t PMP registration come with the PMBOK?

I also recommend Rita’s book as well as the flash cards. I felt well prepared and was able to pass the test confidently.

PrepCast - it comes with 10 practice exams and really helped me to understand the materials. You can also resell it once done.

Study the PMBOK

Read and study the books mentioned. Memorize the chart in small chunks until you know the whole thing.

Hello fellow fishes,
I'm 5 YOE in analytics, mainly CPG/Retail business understanding and solutioning with a touch of python.

I'm planning to enter in freelancing. What could be a potential stream and how to break through into that first project.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

So I recently left a really fun job where I was ridiculously underpaid for a very very boring job that gave me a pretty big pay rise. I thought I could push through how boring it is but nah, not really. Happy I made this choice because it’s a big client but not sure I can do it for long. How long would you give it before quitting? I’m really trying to make the switch to experiential/PR so any help/lead on agencies is appreciated 😶

Hi Everyone,
I know we all are struggling and also thriving in the corporate ladder, however I was kind of wondering if someone could help me with the below details to plan the career better :
Exp. 13.5 Yrs
Industry Segment : Supply Chain Operations and Project Management
Graduation : B.E. Civil and MBA in International Business
What can be the expected CTC in India considering my exp. and academics?
If I wish to switch to other Segment, what is the way to switch to other high paying jobs?

What’s your advise for someone looking to get into soft IP litigation (not an engineering / science major) but have been working in L&E for 3 years now. I know my litigation skills are top notch — so I don’t know what to do. I started branching out to orgs to network , but any other ideas?

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
