Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

I try to give them what they want but in small doses. To me micromanaging symbolizes a lack of trust so I give them dates when they can review my stuff or catch up on my progress.
When this happened to me, I would send them little notes about everything I was doing before they asked. Eventually, he got the point and told me he trust me to do everything on my own
Proper boundaries. Which I'm sure sounds like a broken record but it's true. Boundaries are for you, so don't expect them to change behavior over night.
If they're super nice then you can have conversation with them and be honest about how you feel about their management style. A good leader is open to criticism
A difficult aspect of managing people is learning to let them do things their own way and make their own mistakes. You need to have a straight conversation with your boss about how you feel about micromanagement and what needs to happen to improve the situation. You will gain respect from superiors by trusting them and having difficult conversations. Sure it can backfire at awful companies with bad leaders, which they aren't.
