Hello Folks,
My LWD with current organization is on 30-Sep-2022.
I have an offer with HCl and joining date is on 3-oct-2022.
I have cleared the TCS technical and managerial round and got an email to upload the documents to proceed further with HR discussion, an I have done it yesterday.
But my priority is to go with TCS, but the doubt is will TCS provide offer or joining letter before 30-Sep-2022, because only 6 days left to complete my LWD.
Any suggestions to handle this.

🥱🥱 you can’t never trust nobody

I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

It will depend on the company, how large it is and what your responsibilities are. Overall, I would say that while sometimes training for remote jobs is more informal, many/most companies still have onboarding and training policies in place for new employees. The training usually takes place over Zoom, or through media from the company etc. Hope this helps.
Virtual training can be a bit trickier, but it's totally doable if the company invests enough time and money into it.
I’m in virtual training for my job now. It’s a lot of zoom calls. I basically am in meetings for 5-6 hours a day. Feels a lot like school. I have compliance training like sexual harassment and Dei trainings. My company has actually done a good job at scheduling a lot of coffee chats with coworkers so it feels more social. It really just depends on how a company is structured.
Employees are usually trained through videos or zoom. Companies have training materials for new hires.

For my job the training was a mix. The DEI/cybersecurity/sexual harassment trainings were all the standard watch a video and do a quiz type of work. However, for training on duties that actually relate to my day-to-day tasks, I had a bunch of meetings with team members for them to explain their processes while screen sharing and doing the actual work. I found this helpful for getting to know people and seeing what company standards are in action. Sort of like a live tutorial.
