I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I was enlisted in the Army for a while and was also a drill sergeant later in my career.
Write your partner letters—no matter where they are in training, they still get mail and mail call is always the highlight of everyone’s day. There is also always at least a little time to write letters in the training day, and drill sergeant actively encourage it.
Grab a notebook and write down three things you’re going to do today that, even if only in a small way, will contribute towards a successful internship and reunite you with your partner. Only focus on the rest of today. Keep focusing on the next 24 hours for now. In my experience during trying times, if I think about everything all at once it seems too impossible and stresses me out. But if I just focus on today, or even focus on getting to my lunch break, it seems more doable and builds confidence. It always gets better but I empathize with how difficult your situation must be.
I'm so sorry you're going through this :/ I think that learning to expand your network of people you can talk to would be a good idea. I'm not sure if you have any family or friends you trust that you could try to reach out to, but I bet people are more willing to listen than you might think. If you really feel like you don't have anyone you could talk to, maybe trying to find a therapist would be a good idea?
Thanks for your responses. I’ll adjust is the best way I can.
