Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

I’ve been trying my best to work out around 5:30-6pm and then go back to work after. I know it seems undoable, but if you block time in your calendar it can be done. Also makes such a difference to get a break during the day! Even if it’s just for a walk on the treadmill if you don’t have a ton of energy.
Go to bed at 10, wake up at 5:30. I often accidentally wake up at 4/4:15 if I go to bed by 10. Read for 30 mins before sleep, too, helps
Know how much minimum sleep you need to feel energetic and survive the day. I try to target 7 hours - bed at 10 and up at 5 works for me. I actually feel less tired when getting up early to work out than if I get more sleep but don’t work out. Can survive in less sleep but can’t miss the workout
I was the same way and still am. The few days I was able to be a morning gym person, it started with going to bed early. And by early I mean 9-930
Pre-workout: some crazy combo of caffeine, sugar and fillers. Check out “C4” pre workout on amazon. Be prepared for hefty jitters. 🚀
Alternatively, chug a half cup of coffee as soon as you wake up. I make it the night before and sit it on my bedside table. Usually kicks in as I’m walking to the hotel gym, and I feel ready for action.
He means (sometimes semi) legal amphetamines, basically.
Coffee is the best preworkout! Also, go to bed early. I need 9 hours so I'm in bed by 9 and up by 6.
Honestly you might need to change your nutrition, take a month and drop a few pounds first to get your energy level up, then take a week off and focus on getting back to fitness. I did that. Really helped me. Good luck OP
You’ll actually feel more awake with just something as simple as a 15 min walk on the treadmill. On days when I don’t walk after I get up, it just feels like I drag ass all day - especially when I wake up exhausted
Pre-workout! I normally sleep around 12-1am, up by 6am and off to the races 💪
What do you mean by “pre-workout?"
If you get used to waking up early on a consistent basis to workout, you’ll eventually reap the benefits (guess it depends on the body type though). Although it sucks waking up early, I find working out provides me with less anxiety, more focus and alertness. That in itself is a driver for forcing me to wake up early nowadays
Get a workout buddy! Knowing somebody is counting on you waking up always makes it easier.
Honestly, there is NOTHING more motivating than being fat, losing weight, and not wanting to get fat again.
