How does one get “coached out” of PA? I think that’s what’s happening to my senior whose been in his current position for 6 years, but not sure.

My wife recently put in her two weeks and half the people she worked with are just ignoring her messages. They asked to work longer but bc of her new company she cant. For staff/seniors in public accounting. Would you rather be paid 1 1/2 for your tax season overtime hours or would you prefer to wait for a big fat bonus check at the end of the company year? I heard KMPG paid overtime at 1.5 back in the day when the others didn't. I am sure they have now cut that out though.
