How does your agency structure its Engagement/Activation/Digital Strategy dept, as far as titles/roles go? If doesn't seem as defined as other depts and, from what I can tell, it also isn't uniform across agencies. For example, in our Copy dept, the succession is:

Hello everyone, I'm a cs grad student graduating in may making a career transition from mechanical eng to cs. I had an internship but its been hard to find a fulltime dev role. I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

Is working in VC Ops for a T10 Series A fund a good opportunity? This would be an internship preMba. I’m making a career shift as a vet and looking to land a VC investor role post b school (ideally HS) Anecdotally I understand seed and series A VC is very network based so this would be a chance to meet great folks, but ultimately not the investing experience I’m hoping for. Other internship options include start-up or consulting.

One of my junior associates recently resigned and I've been trying to make an exit myself for several months now. I am mainly working with shops in the States as a non-native speaker and I am constantly worried about my ability to communicate (in any professional occasion but mostly in meetings). How many times a week do you ask yourself why you’re so terrible at advertising and why is it 1 billion?

A couple of ppl in my previous agency, saw a competitor acct try a very interesting idea that we thought was cool — but their execution was super localized, in europe, and was not even done to its fullest potential. So, they didnt get ANY press (just like two articles from random websites). Fast forward and Im at another agency, thinking that now more than ever, that idea could be done better. Is it fair game?
