When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

Honestly, I was once a rising star at a Publicis agency. They flew me in to do a week of leadership training. The main message was MONEY DOESNT MAKE ANYONE HAPPIER. This message was pounded into us, with infographics and dialogue training on how to turn down raises. I think it must’ve cost a couple of million to put on.
As you can expect, all the juniors who would’ve been happy with a $5K bump left when we announced raise freezes. Then Maurice said we were”top heavy.”

Salaries and benefits improve culture.
From a previous agency that helped a lot: No Monday client meeting allowed.
This prevented much of the weekend work drastically.
Funny, I seem to remember winning a pitch because the incumbent tried to limit meetings.
clients buying good work solves a lot of issues
We play music loud. And have a ping pong table. We’re very woke.
If agencies are going to treat you as disposable (get what they can out of you and if you don’t like it then make it clear you’re free to go somewhere else) then why wouldn’t employees do the same? Why wouldn’t they hop around looking for a better gig?
Most people know that agency finances can only support so much. And they’re going to want more money as they deserve it. But in the meanwhile, there are other ways to show that you value them.
Give them ownership of their projects. Don’t micromanage or have so many layers of politicians who all need to contribute by calling out something else that could go wrong (make it harder to produce something good).
Put them in position to succeed. Protect them from the politics and bs as much as you can. Make sure everyone is forced to value their output as much as you do by protecting the process and timelines. And take some smart chances to sell interesting, less safe stuff.
They’ll eventually leave for more money. But only because they have to. And they’ll be sad about it
have the agency give time or money to help make employee's proactive work or side projects come to life. people are happier when making good stuff. of clients are good, find other ways to make good shit.
hire better people. seems simple, but isnt. and is so important. you need at least a few people who are loud and weird, and can show the rest of the staff its ok to be loud too.
agency leadership needs to wander the floors and talk to people. say hi. crack jokes. etc. they can't just sit in their offices.
Don’t hire assholes
Or fire them. If good workers are quitting or miserable because of one person, it doesn’t matter how valuable you think their work is.
Hasn't.
Wellness Wednesday. Every two Wednesday we could leave at 4 to exercise and we had a 50$ budget per month allocated to sport 🥎. That was really nice
Was going to say something similar to AS1 👆Sadly ‘Don’t be an asshole’ especially in leadership.
