Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

A year and a half isn’t very long. I wouldn’t say that is behind. My current AAM has a couple years in. I personally had a couple years in as well.
It took me 2 years to go from AAE to AE. I know folks that took longer. You’re not behind
2.5 years from AE to SAE. 1 year from SAE to AAM. 1.5 years of running my own shop. Masters degree (1 year). AM. 1 year from AM to SAM.
I’d say you aren’t behind. Every designation comes with a set of learnings and the more experience you gain (small-medium-high budgets, working across industries, line management, etc) I guess the better account person you become :)
You are not behind. I don't anyone who went from AAM to AM in a year or less. It usually takes 2-3 years so I would say you're right on time.
Without an open slot on a client team with budget for it, it's not going to be easy.
