Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Proud Career EA. Currently, an Administrative Assistant II. In my current role, took a pivot from executive support to doing Spreadsheets, invoicing etc. It's kinda nice not worrying about catering, travel managements, manning the front desk etc. Being an EA is very versatile! We can go to ANY INDUSTRY, do any kind of work in our capacity. I was blessed 🙌from above with my new role. In my other posts/comments, I always say keep faith, stay prayed up! 🙏 God knows your needs and families.
It's really great that you're happy in your role! I also love the non-traditional parts of the EA role. I hated manning the front desk the most. It's really not an EA duty, just one of those things that get lumped in
I’m switching bc EA doesn’t seem to have a lot of remote opportunities (in my area at least) and I’d prefer that. Trying to move more into project management and data analytics.
Sounds like a plan. I wish you the best.

Not a lifer and always open to other opportunities, mostly out of boredom. My previous EA job was very fulfilling, and I did so much more than EA work. It was more of an unofficial chief of staff position. Unfortunately, it was a nonprofit that paid peanuts, and I was only making 50k working 6 days a week with no OT. I got out of dodge to make twice as much, but I find this EA job to be very mundane. All I do here is travel and schedule 90% of the time. I'd love to get back into chief of staff work, or something with my finance background like a budget analyst position.
They should! It's unbelievable
EA lifer but not by choice.. was laid off and this was the only job that came through when I was looking.
I am open to other opportunities..my company doesn’t not see the value in EAs and is moving all of the positions to Asia.
