290-300k at Bain and BCG
Wow, first year manager like PL (project leader) makes 300k total compensation under average performance? That’s a lot of money… probably tops among peers.

Eh it’s ok, we also give new managers low to mid 300s
Base ~200 + bonus ~100+
What’s a rough breakdown - base vs. bonus vs. other benefits? Roughly roughly…

What does each column mean here? NAP and Rtmt specifically?
NAP is firm profit share, rtmt is retirement contributions. Both are additional comp beyond base salary + bonus (and NAP scales well).
Grade is your title (AC = Associate Consultant, SM = Senior Manager).
Total is the total comp for each grade.
Interesting that you get NAP as a junior consultant too. Thought it was a partner/principal thing.
Every level gets it. At junior levels it is deferred though (paid out after SAC year for first 3 years, and on promotion to SM for C/M years)
