How often do you guys think about quitting finance?

I am a new grad in Canada with 0-1 yrs of experience. I am planning to build a career in project management and currently have an offer for a program coordinator position. Should I take it? How much salary should I expect in the industry as a beginner?

My entire worldview/outlook on my career and what I want has changed since covid happened. Can someone explain what being “of counsel” is like at larger law firms - are they independent contractors? Make their own hours? How do you get a gig like that? I don’t think I want to be a partner anymore.

Hi - I’ve moved to Toronto (from Asia) with 5 YOE in Corporate banking + 2 YOE IB/capital markets (7 YOE in TOTAL) working roles in Front Office and financial analysis.

Believe I’d be a great fit as an Associate in the same space at the major banks (RBC, TD, Scotia, CIBC etc) or in PE/ Asset management.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. Whenever I have to put slides together, I doubt myself a million times and it takes too long to make a single slide. I know I have Impostor Syndrome and depression, and the longer it takes to put a slide together, the harder it is to get it done.
