How will supply chain consulting fare during an economic turndown? Feel like I’ve been in pretty high demand lately, but it’s all been focused on managing extreme growth. Scared for the future ahead.

Can folks recommend books for first time moms? I’m very early first trimester but feel totally lost and overwhelmed already. I need like very basic 101 how to take care of an infant and beyond lol. Especially ones that include items that are must haves or nice to haves so I can actually start thinking about a registry.

Have you ever wondered if the questions in the HR/behavioural interviews are considerate for people who are extremely literal? E.g. asking a candidate that the recruiter reached out to “why they want to work for <insert big conglomerate here>”. Well, that would be a very weird question to answer without knowing what position/team the applicant is meant to work on.

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - lauren

If so, what did you switch too? I would love to try something more natural but they don’t work well for me. Plus I get really bad reactions to baking soda, which many of the more natural ones have. So bad I had to see a doctor last time.
