Please for the love of god DO NOT spend $100,000 on an MBA for a possibly 15 -20k salary increase to Manager. The CISA is like 500 dollars. It takes like 2 months.
Get the CISA, took it like 5 years ago and it was straightforward in my opinion. No where near as difficult as CISSP or CISM. Not sure if it’ll increase your salary at your current role but definitely would help you land a manager internal audit role else where for more $$
Do CISA
Second all the posts. Certificates are so much easier. Also, if you are going to stay with public accounting, your MBA will not help get you up to the partner track.
CISA all day long
If you have 4.5 years of IT audit and can’t pass the CISA with some amount of minimal effort then you should find another career
If you're an IT auditor, CISA is quite easy. Do that before you spend a ton of money on an MBA.
I just finished my CISA, you can pass that exam with 4.5 years of experience.
