I am currently a CSR for a beverage company. My territory sales manager is leaving and I have been offered the position. It’s a 10 dollar a hr pay raise for me but salary. I currently make lots of over time so my checks would be similar. In 6 months I am moving states. Should I take the position for the experience so I can get a better position in a new company starting out or should I stay where I’m at.

Take the position. Easy choice

like

Hi! You should take the position while you have the opportunity. You can add that experience in your resume.

like

If you don’t like prospecting I strongly advise against it. CSR and Territory sales are two totally different job. If you like being given work to accomplish, instead of finding the work to accomplish, I would suggest finding a higher role in customer service.

Hi everyone. English is my second language. I understand the language, I can write relatively well, but I struggle when speaking. I'm not at all an elegant speaker. I sound so un-smart when I speak during meetings 🥺

This company I am interviewing with is not proposing a base salary and an OTE. They are asking me to create it and I really need guidance here. It’s an AE role in medical SaaS sales for orthopedics surgery. What do I need to ask? So far I know that they cover medical insurance, there is no 401k, and there are private company stock options. It’s mainly inside sales with maybe 10% travel.

My thought was 75k base and 110k OTE. But they are saying to lower the base and increase OTE.
