Not at all. Why would you leave anywhere for a $43k job? Places like McDonalds and Buckeyes pays better than that.
^
Nope. Decline the offer. They’ve lowballed you.
Starting rent here is 1600-1700 for a 500-760 square foot apartment. Definitely would recind their offer.
100% don’t do that
Five hundred and seventy dollars??? Yikes, that's practically impossible according to today's standards...hold that close for sure.
No, the price of housing has risen astronomically here in Charlotte - I would absolutely stay! You won’t find that here, even outside the city. That sounds amazing all that space and that mortgage 🤯😆 - definitely a keeper!!
I would sit tight on that, even if you're making less than 43k right now.
Nope. Absolutely not.
Absolutely not worth it. We live here and for that salary it is absolutely not worth it.
You can get cheaper than that for rent, but 43k won’t be a good life in Charlotte.

Unless you are either selling your house or renting it for extra income, it’s definitely not worth it. I think I read somewhere that the cost of living here somewhat comfortably (housing, food, bills taken care of) requires a minimum of $50k so you’d be scrimping a lot with just that salary.
That's a huge sacrifice so I completely understand where you're coming from. Are you feeling like you need a change in your life?
That salary would leave you with very few options for living in Charlotte unless you lived pretty far outside the city.
Even living an hour outside of CLT would leave very few options. 43k is not gonna cut it in any decent sized city.
Don't do it. You'll regret it for the rest of your life. You're being lowballed with that 43k. And besides, I don't think you'll ever be able to find a house with a $570 mortgage in this economy anymore. Keep it.
Don’t do it, seriously, shi* is crazy expensive here. It’s New York prices but not New York amenities.
No
43k?? That’s bogus salary.
At that salary you would not qualify for a $1400 apartment as most places require 3 times the monthly rent.
