I bought a house last year but unfortunately due to visa reasons, I will need to move out of the country temporarily for 1.5 - 2 years (Canada). I am hoping to not sell the house yet.
Idea is to rent the house and pay the balance from pocket until the situation becomes more clear.

Has anyone done this? Are there any legal complications given I will not have a US visa? How does the dual taxes work?

Hi everyone, I've been offered a manager role in a regional office in Deloitte, starting salary of 50k plus 6k in benefits. Does this feel right?

I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . I don’t wanna undersell but also trying to avoid being aggressive but quote a decent number which will be achievable. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Is 125k $ base a fair value for or I can pitch higher? They have a 15 to 20 % bonus on top of base pay and a 10% match on 401k which the recruiter keep highlighting.

Closing on my first home. Advice for anyone with student loans in administrative forbearance per the Cares act: once your offer is accepted have you student loan servicer put your account back in repayment status.

Accounts in forbearance, even administrative forbearance, are calculated at a higher monthly payment by the underwriter.

My fictitious debt to income ratio was too high for them to approve me, and it took seven days for my loan to be officially back in repayment. So just a heads up.

However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now.
