You need to be pouring money into investments each month and figure out how to take your income to the next level. Keep your biggest expenses in check relative to your income.
I strongly recommend investing in 1-3 broad diversified mutual funds or etfs. 99% of people don’t grow wealthy from crypto or individual stock bets.

EY1 Do you tend to maximize your HSA and 401k as well?
I am a 25 year old and have a net worth of over 100k (not including retirement). I worked throughout school and started saving then. My parents did not and do not pay for anything besides my health insurance. My starting salary was 70k in Boston with about 1600 in rent. Basically what I did was have a budget and stick to it. I invested in a bunch of vanguard funds and stocks that have done well. I also never spent my bonuses and invested those. I also paid myself first so my bank account looked small and therefore acted like I was broke.
I totally understand the NYC life. I’ve been there for the past 2 years and my rent is a lot. I have vdadx, vtsax, and vwigx. I also like AB stock. They have about a 9% dividend yield plus the stock has been going up. I also agree with adding some crypto. I invested there after I hit 100k, but I think 5% investment is a good start (buy a dip.) For budgeting, I think the biggest this is just tracking and reconciling every month. It can be tedious, but if you look you realize where you are wasting money.
Switch jobs 2-3 years. Get into consulting lol

Saving for down payment
When I say saving, I’m talking very cheaply with low expenses for first 5 years of my career.
Lived at home for first two years out of college.

Traveling Mon-Thurs definitely helped to save a ton and I paid off my loans as quick as possible. LCOL city but I’ve never really spared much expense for travel/ dining out etc.
