I would need more security if I’m moving across the country. I say stay where you are and wait for the right opportunity.
I would be leery and hold out for more stability
I guess you could see how the process continues and if there's any improvement. It's important to consider the toll that moving across the country will take on you, and if the job is terrible, then you could end up with a lot of stress piled on at once. It sounds like you're feeling unsure. I think you should follow your gut.
Once you have an offer letter in hand, request a call to ask more questions to help you make the decision.
There’s a time to take chances in your life and career. With so many factors involved only you know if it’s the right time. I’d look closely at their business plan and consider whether your heart is in the company. You down with how they’re positioning themselves? Who else would you be working with and do you think you’d like working with them? Will this startup agency blow up in a good way or just be another agency?
Could you see yourself growing with the agency over years? Can you get an equity share?
Were you referred?
If I had to fly across the ocean for work, I would want something with more certainty and stability before pushing through with it. Maybe you should listen to your intuition with this one.
I would personally wait for something better - esp if it's something that requires you to upend your life. if your gut feel isn't coming out right and you don't feel like it's the best option - wait! This is not the only opportunity that will come around!
