13 yr outside Sales Experience in the B2B space, multiple roles/companies. Current quota is $15MCAD, I usually do not bad in quota but lately has shifted to rewarding medicorciy and "pooling" some numbers countrywide which i really dont like.
Current comp is $85k Base and $115 OTE with a ceiling of $150k CAD/$120k US. Feel it's too little for my experience and they are taking perks away by the day.

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I’m a third year, and am the most junior person all of my teams (generally me, a senior or two, and a partner or two), and I always feel like I’m messing something up. Is this just because I never get to work with other juniors and don’t see the mistakes they make, and that it’s relatively normal? From a vault ranking perspective, is it safe to assume V100 is all sweatshop big law? Reason I ask is because I want to lateral but not to a gunning big law firm — want to stay in big law but not at the ones at the top of the food chain like I am now. I've decided to leave public for an Accounting Manager position in private. What are the different types of companies to consider and the pros/cons? What are the best ways to get the position? I'm leaning toward GL accounting at a publicly-traded company. My background is 3.5 years audit and 2.5 years technical accounting advisory.

Is it worth it to play the long game in public accounting (partner track) or to transition to industry and potentially become CFO, CEO, Controller role?

I bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago at the top of the market. I ended up moving out of state in 2017 and short-selling. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Can they pull the offer due to this? Should I tell them before we advance further?
