It's not the case at "most companies," it's the case whenever a new person joins any team -- athletic, work, church, whatever.
What have you done to help alleviate the situation?

Hmmm. At any new job you have to prove yourself. Should not have to deal with disrespect, but hard to know how you define it.
Why exactly did you leave the Garden of Edan where you used to work? Something drove you to change jobs. Is the new place delivering on those expectations?
It’s not the first suggestion, I’ve been aware enough to blend into their environment and I actually think it can also be a problem.
As I mentioned I needed income and it seemed to be a decent opportunity. I wouldn’t say it’s super easy to look for the best opportunity when unemployed. What it sounds like you’re saying is this can’t be fixed and I need to look for another better role.
Do your job and document document document. This isn't a frat or soro. You're not there to make friends.
Check people before they attempt to check you. You may be the newest employee but you're being paid the same so bring your A game everyday.

Trust and respect are earned. You cannot expect to be treated like your old company and your old coworkers at a new place

"Respect has to be earned" is one of the most ridiculous statements humans make.
Basic respect as a fellow human being does not need to be "earned." Respect for one's expertise, yes. Respect for their ability to lead a team, yes. But the basic respect of another person's humanity? Not earned, a given.
We all go through this to make a buck.
I totally hear you!! regardless of anything anyone else has told you I am an absolute agreement with you. The world has changed. The inclusion has changed! Energy remote, just nothing but disrespect as far as people not around their cameras people interrupting the speakers or and also people not really caring like they used to for each other. I’m doing my best to change it on my side, but let’s face it at a certain age sometimes it feels likeour relevancy has changed. But it has not Friend keep being who you are who you’ve always been you know you got this and I’m sorry that you’re going through this but know that your feelings are valid and your thoughts are valid.
