So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Unfortunately the only thing I have in writing is the other company saying "We asked around about him and we think he wouldn't be right for our agency" - the "bad stories" part was just verbal.
You aren’t alone — this happened to me too (had a mental health crisis, and it was brought up during an interview with a separate company). 😰
I'm really glad your employer was supportive. I should, perhaps, have been open about the struggles I was going through.
It happened to me as well for similar reasons. I was pushed out and initiated the separation. I had an NDA, but the agency still decided to paint my departure in an unfavorable light in the press (months later) which made it sound like I was fired. They had no right to use my name and wish I had gone after them.

Are you talking about that ACD?
No idea why your former employer would be saying anything to anyone. They shouldn’t be. I guess depending on what “pretty crazy” entails.
Senior Project Manager 1: That's a fair assumption, but I was actually fired 4 months after it happened. Do you think it was still the reason?
You absolutely have grounds for a lawsuit.
I am watching a similar situation play out at my agency with an old coworker of mine.
Have you considered or do you feel comfortable reaching out to the people you think may be perpetuating these stories?
