If it’s a guy “you’re talking with”, I wouldn’t spend money on an Hermes bracelet even if you have plenty. IMO gifting a cologne to someone you’re not close enough to know his taste is very risk. The only time someone (relatives, GFs, wife) ever got it right is when they gifted me the same I was already using 😂
Anyway if he likes bracelets there are plenty of cool ones that are much more unique than Hermes.
Ok, with this additional then a nicer gift makes sense! My fav men bracelets brands are:
- Atolyestone London (very wide pricing range, from $80 to $30k. You pay the stone/material and design rather than the brand.
- Thomas Sabo: from cheap to about $1k
- Sophie Buhai, the thinner one only but they have big ones too
As for Hermes, IMO the ones cheaper than the Clic collection are massively overpriced for what you get. Clic collections too but at least you get a more “solid” bracelet that will surely lasts longer and they have some more unusual design ones

Can we define ‘talking to’ please? How many dates have you been on, have you discussed being exclusive, etc? If not- then no gift. Don’t give girlfriend treatment to someone who is practically a stranger
Big bucks bracelet for a man you don’t date?
Unless he's a bracelet/jewelry guy, go with the cologne.
Jewelry for a guy is a very hit or miss thing.
Yup I agree completely
Am 23yrs, Uganda l need a partner
The bracelet has to be reasonably thick for a man not thin n danty. It probably is lol just get the cologne and give him some good oral and or let him hit 👌
Do yourself a favor, get him Versace Eros cologne.
Oh lovely, good looks Senior ✊👀🤌 just order a few bottles, see which one I like the best
I have heard the advice to not get anything too extravagant. Men look at gifts differently.
Get something practical for him but not over the top
Don’t buy anything expensive. Go for practical, functional and thoughtful to let them know you’re paying attention to things that they’re into ie a book on a certain topic, a mug that says something on it…
Approach in the same way you’d buy a gift for a co worker. That way if it doesn’t work out, you really won’t have any financial regrets….
I agree Manager 1.
Safety triangle for should he break down?!?!
What I would say is as long as you both feel good with each other , it’s pretty good to get him fancy gifts
Men deserve good gifts too
So girl give him a Hermes bracelet and also a cologne , I’ll prefer a Louis Vuitton cologne
How long do you know him? I would be offended if someone I was "talking to" gave me cologne, because I don't think I smell bad. Do you not like his current cologne? Does he currently wear jewelry? Are you trying to mold him into your ideal boyfriend? We need answers.
