I have a supervisor that is extremely passive. Anytime anyone makes a mistake she posts a vague message to our group chat to everyone addressing it. I’ve made two of these mistakes and have never heard from her directly. On top of that, the mistakes resulted from having never received proper onboarding. When I attempt to reach out to her to discuss issues, she says we’ll talk tomorrow then she’s MIA or to schedule a meeting that she just doesn’t show up for. Is there anything I can do?

Isn’t it amazing? How important on boarding is when you land a new role? And if you weren’t on boarded well, you have every right to bitch about it as the employee, you get what you train.
