What’s the average salary range for a GAS?
McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

No. I'd suggest chasing experience and learning rather than money at the start of your career.
Experience would still be good btw

They will probably leave as soon as they have a good offer. Would you rather have 1/2 years with them while enduring D itself, or leave rn for $?
Your call, but I would probably leave. I still like consulting despite everything we know, but D is not the best firm imho (although it's more exclusive than Harvard tbh)

P.s.: as an analyst a min 20% bump is good - not the best, but def in the top range

I don't think it's worth it but it depends on how much you need the money. Will the new company offer as many development opportunities and will you continue to learn a lot? Experience is extra important early in your career because it sets you up for progressively better roles. If you won't get as much learning or as good experience, 20% isn't worth it.
Experience would still be good. So that’s why I’m like might as well get good experience for more money.
FYI: role would still be in consulting or a top tech firm. So I’d say learning would still be good.

20% is a lot. I just declined an opportunity at Deloitte because it was a 20% cut.
Let your leadership know about the offer? Deloitte should give a good enough counter offer
I kinda doubt Deloitte would match a offer for someone who is kinda new
